Contraception

There are lots of different methods of contraception to choose from - they're all free and they can all stop you from getting pregnant if used correctly.

A woman can get pregnant....

  • Even if it's the first time she has sex
  • If she doesn’t have an orgasm
  • If the guy pulls out of her vagina before he comes
  • If she has sex when she has her period
  • Whatever position the couple has sex in
  • If she douches (squirts fluid into the vagina) – this can be harmful to women too

There are lots of different types of contraception – these include Hormonal Methods (like the pill and the implant) and Barrier Methods (like the condom).

Hormonal methods can help to prevent pregnancy and Barrier Methods also help to prevent catching sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

You can use both at the same time to reduce the chance of getting pregnant or catching any unwanted STIs.

Have a look around our website to find out more or give us a call to find the right contraception for you.
